Conventional point-to-point microwave, bonded copper, and fiber-based wireless backhaul solutions are not only widely available, but simply to deploy. Small Cell Wireless Backhaul:
With the large growth in data traffic, network operators are utilizing small cell LTE solutions, Wi-Fi and high capacity wireless network backhauls to alleviate the burden of high traffic data networks. Mobile operators are planning their LTE networks as a combination of macro cells and an ‘underlay’ network of smaller micro and picocells.
