This is a complete link to include everything needed to connect 2 locations, up to 1+ miles apart, clear-unobstructed line of sight is required. Pre-configured for "out of the box" installation. Technical support included. Complete link.
Outdoor Wireless:
Antennas and Bridge radios can be mounted outdoors. A Ethernet cable will provide both power and data, connected to your network equipment indoors. We include a 50ft. shielded cat5 cable.
Wireless Internet Range:
Typical Range for this long distance wifi bridge is recommended for 1 mile or less. This will provide maximum throughput of 300Mbps radio rate, assuming clear, unobstructed line of sight. Because this link operates at full duplex, data travels in both directions at the same time providing the lowest latency available. Longer distance is possible by tuning transmit power and channel width.
Wireless Bridge Network:
This wireless bridge operates as a true layer 2 transparent bridge. All DHCP, and other traffic will flow across the link similar to an invisible Ethernet cable. The bridge radios have an IP address for management only, and play no role in the network.
5GHz Ethernet Bridge:
The frequency supported on this building to building link is 5.7GHz to 5.8Ghz. Using 40MHz channel width, or the lower 20MHz channel width, the radios will automatically adjust to changing conditions and change the channel if interference impacts the performance. You can also set a static channel for co-locating multiple antennas on the same pole.
